The world premiere of the Desert Rose symphony by Syrian American composer and Pianist Malek Jandali, performed by the Qatar Philharmonic Orchestra at the National Museum of Qatar in November 2022.

Open to the public, the concert formed part of the official celebrations in Doha to mark the 10th Anniversary of Years of Culture. The set design comprises a series of mirror portals; they reflect the region's rich history and open up opportunities for future emerging talents. Taking inspiration from the breathtaking Desert Rose Museum by Jean Novel, the circular geometry of the stage sits harmoniously with its surroundings.
