THE GREATEST SHOWMAN CIRCUS SPECTACULAR: COME ALIVE!
London, Empress Musuem [2023]
Set Design by Ruby Law
‘Come Alive!’ The Greatest Showman Circus Spectacular is an exciting new theatre production that brings the magic of The Greatest Showman to life. Inspired by the 20th Century Fox film, written by Jenny Bicks, this circus musical features all the iconic songs by Benj Pasek and Justin Paul, including “This Is Me,” “Rewrite the Stars,” and “A Million Dreams.”
The show is hosted under a captivating 700-seat Big Top designed by Ruby Law at the Empress Museum in London’s Earls Court. Behind the scenes, our team worked tirelessly on a custom mother truss system that could hold the weight of all the incredible circus equipment without compromising the height and grandeur of the stage. The seating takes on a bold architectural form to draw the audience right into the heart of the action, with the band plinth styled like a hot-air balloon basket, ready to “take off.” A circus wagon, reminiscent of a royal carriage, sets the stage for breathtaking performances.'
With the heart-pounding music of The Greatest Showman paired with stunning choreography and awe-inspiring circus acts, this production immerses you in a world of wonder, bringing the story and its extraordinary characters to life in a spectacular way. Every moment builds with energy, pulling you deeper into the show's magic.
